QuakeNet Servers. IRC network QuakeNet was registered on netsplit.de in August 1998.Since that time our data collector regularly connects IRC network QuakeNet to determine its key performance indicators, such as its number of users and its number of chat rooms (IRC channels).
QuakeNet was one of the largest Internet Relay Chat (IRC) networks. The network was founded in 1997 by Garfield (Henrik Rasmussen, Denmark) and Oli (Oli Gustafsson, Sweden) as a new home for their respective countries' Quake channels. qwebirc is a fast, easy to use, free and open source IRC client designed by and originally just for the QuakeNet IRC network. The program will then automatically open The main IceChat Support channel is located on Quakenet (irc.quakenet.org) in the #icechat channel. The IceChat 9 Support/Developer channel is located on Freenode in the #icechat channel. IceChat 7.8 has been released to deal with the problems with Windows 8. IceChat 7.8 has not been tested on Windows 10. During last connections to QuakeNet its servers reported an average of 12002 users and 10264 chat rooms.
