You can solve all of these problems by looking in two separate places in the registry, and then deleting a bunch of keys in each location.
the NM icon is not showing in the sys tray in Windows Server 2016. In the settings “show which icons appear on the taskbar” it is not listed either. Seems like a bug. I just got a new m4400 precision laptop (nice!) with XPsp3, and I have an annoying problem. Many of my icons are missing from the system tray. The network connection icons, NAV, touchpad and nVidia icons are there but the following are missing: Skype, Spyder calibration, power status, audio volume and Comodo firewall.
